What does it cost? A plain-language pricing guide
We believe in upfront pricing, so here's a starting point: general ballpark ranges for the plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical jobs we're asked about most.
These are general Ontario-wide ballpark ranges, gathered from public industry pricing data — not an official Ferguson quote, and not specific to any one job. Every home, every fixture, and every access point is different. The only way to get an accurate number for your job is a free, no-obligation estimate from one of our technicians.

Plumbing
Basic hand-snake for a simple clog; deeper or repeat blockages run higher.
Snaking on the low end; hydro-jetting for stubborn or root-related blockages on the high end.
Includes a standard two-piece toilet, removal of the old unit, and labour. Premium fixtures cost more.
Standard gas tank, installed. Tankless units typically run $1,500 – $5,000.
Complete new system with pit, discharge line and check valve. Add roughly $400 – $1,500 for battery backup.

Heating & Cooling
Single-stage units at the low end; high-efficiency modulating furnaces at the high end.
Depends on home size, tonnage and efficiency (SEER) rating.

Electrical
Standard breaker panel swap, e.g. 100A to 200A service.
Includes meter base, service entry wiring and utility coordination for larger service upgrades.
